A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in grades K-12 at a school located in Melrose, NM. This contract position spans the current school year, beginning December 1, 2025, and concluding May 21, 2026. The role is full-time with 37.5 hours per week onsite, providing comprehensive speech therapy services tailored to student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy interventions to K-12 students
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech and language needs
- Manage a caseload determined by your experience and preferences
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology certification/license in New Mexico
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with a variety of student populations
- Ability to tailor therapy approaches to individual student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
